We’re living in the age of AI. Some people worry it’s dangerous — something that will lead to job loss, confusion, or even the collapse of creative work.
But AI is a tool — just like a pen, a microphone, or a paintbrush. What matters is how we use it.
As faith-based creatives, we don’t need to fear technology. We can learn to use it with wisdom, intention, and integrity to strengthen our writing and help more people.

💻 Using AI in Website Design (Without Coding Skills)
You don’t need to be a website designer or a coding expert to create a professional, engaging site. If you’re using platforms like WordPress, Wix, or Squarespace, AI tools like ChatGPT or Gemini can walk you through the steps — even if you’re a beginner.
When I started building my website, I had taken a coding class in JavaScript, but I didn’t have the time or deep expertise to build a site from scratch. I was also juggling book projects, physical health, and family commitments.
Thankfully, with the help of AI and what I’d learned from digital marketing and branding courses, I created a site that reflected my vision and voice — and you can too.
If your website reflects your heart and message, it becomes a place people return to. AI can help you align what you see in your mind with what actually shows up on the screen.

🔧 3 Ways Writers Can Use AI to Build Better Websites
1. Step-by-Step Website Support
AI can guide you through adding elements like:
• “Connect with Me” forms
• Internal article links (via URLs)
• Readability and accessibility improvements
This removes guesswork and saves time — so you can spend more energy writing and connecting.
2. Boosting SEO and Driving Traffic
If you’re selling a book, course, or service, visibility matters. AI can help:
• Optimize headlines and product descriptions
• Suggest SEO keywords your readers are already searching for
• Make your content easier for Google to find and recommend
More visibility = more opportunities to share your message.
3. Understanding Analytics (Without Overwhelm)
Not everyone loves digging through traffic reports or keyword data. With AI, you can:
• Upload or describe your site stats
• Ask for a breakdown in plain language
• Get recommendations on what to improve
Think of it like having a virtual coach for your site.
⸻
✍️ AI for Proofreading and Content Optimization
Even strong writers miss things — especially when writing quickly or late at night.
Grammatical errors or awkward phrasing can distract readers and cause them to tune out. That’s why I’ve started using AI tools to proofread my work before posting.
You can submit your article to ChatGPT (or another AI assistant), ask it to:
• Fix grammar and punctuation
• Improve clarity
• Optimize it with relevant keywords
It takes just a few minutes — and your readers will notice the difference.

🙏 Final Thoughts: Use AI with Purpose, Not Fear
AI is not evil. It’s a tool — and the way we use it determines whether it helps or harms.
God has given you a message to share, use every wise tool available to strengthen that message and reach those who need it. We are called to grow, to learn, and to build. That includes using technology in thoughtful ways.
You don’t have to be perfect to start — just willing to learn and willing to show up.
