Some strangers don’t want to help, they want to control us—The Winter Cabin now available

Some strangers don’t want to help. They want to control us.

Amber crashes in a mountain blizzard and goes off the road into a ravine. Her phone dies in the impact. When she wakes, she is inside an isolated cabin deep in the woods.

Charlie is there.

Quiet. Always watching.

He gives her dry clothes, food, heat, and tells her the roads are closed because of the storm. She has to stay until it clears.

At first, his calm feels like help.

Then she notices the doors are always locked.

He says he’s protecting her. Charlie doesn’t see Amber as a guest. He sees her as something he pulled from the mountain. Something that belongs with him now.

Cut off from the outside world, Amber starts to understand that Charlie may be more dangerous than the storm outside.

By the time she decides to escape, Charlie is no longer asking her to stay.
