Carol Sterling checks into an old hotel hoping to put some distance between herself and the collapse of her marriage.
Instead, she finds Room 220.
At first, the room seems ordinary. Then the impossible begins.
A photograph appears where it shouldn’t be. A radio plays a song that knows her name. Her husband’s voice comes through a telephone that shouldn’t be connected. Hallways lead her back to the same room, no matter which way she tries to escape.
And then the room begins showing her things she thought she’d left behind.
The marriage.
The betrayal.
The mistakes.
The things she missed.
The things she wishes she could forget.
As Carol’s grip on reality begins to slip, she can no longer tell whether something inside the hotel is reaching into her past—or whether her own mind is turning against her.
The room knows things.
But so does Carol.
And by the time she realizes that whatever is happening may be using her guilt against her, getting out may no longer be possible.
Room 220 is a psychological supernatural thriller about betrayal, memory, guilt, and the terrifying possibility that the things haunting us don’t always come from outside.
